Terms of Service

Last updated: June 23, 2026

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using CamLog. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About CamLog

CamLog ("the Service") is a camera and production logging tool for film and video production, operated by an individual ("Operator," "we," "us," or "our"). The Service is accessible at app.camlog.app. For any questions, contact us at [email protected].

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all production log data, project configurations, camera records, and other content you create within the Service ("User Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, sync, and display your User Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you and your collaborators.

You represent that you have all rights necessary to submit any content you create in the Service and that doing so does not violate the rights of any third party.

4.1 Copyright / DMCA

If you believe that content within the Service infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to [email protected] that includes: (a) a description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed; (b) a description of where the alleged infringing material is located within the Service; (c) your name and contact information; (d) a statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner; and (e) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

5. Pro Projects

CamLog offers a paid upgrade ("Pro") for individual projects, available for a one-time fee per project. A Pro license is granted to a single project entity as identified in our system at the time of purchase.

5.1 Permitted Use

5.2 Prohibited Use: Project Cycling

A Pro license covers one ongoing production. Deliberately resetting a Pro project, including renaming it and deleting substantially all cameras and production content, in order to repurpose the Pro slot for an entirely new and unrelated production without purchasing a new Pro license ("project cycling") is a violation of these Terms.

Evidence of project cycling includes, but is not limited to, repeated full resets of project name and camera configuration within a short period of time, particularly where the reset coincides with the commencement of a clearly different production.

5.3 Consequences of Abuse

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to take any of the following actions in response to suspected or confirmed project cycling or other misuse of a Pro license:

These actions may be taken without prior notice and without refund. Repeated or egregious violations will be treated more severely, up to and including permanent account termination.

6. Purchases and Payment

Pro project upgrades are processed through Stripe. All purchases are final. We do not offer refunds. By completing a purchase, you understand that you are acquiring a non-refundable digital license to unlock Pro features for a single project, as described within the Service.

We reserve the right to change pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect Pro licenses already purchased.

7. Feedback

If you submit ideas, suggestions, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, implement, and build upon that feedback in any manner and for any purpose, without any obligation to compensate or credit you.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. If your account is terminated for a violation of these Terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any fees paid.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including Sections 6, 7, 10, 11, and 12, will continue to apply after termination.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from loss, corruption, or security vulnerabilities. Use of the Service is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service, whether in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific project or transaction giving rise to the claim, not to exceed $8.00 USD.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and you irrevocably consent to personal jurisdiction in those courts.

Before filing any legal claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and allow 30 days for us to attempt to resolve the matter informally.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the Service or by email prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the most recent changes took effect.
